Joomla 1.5 store locator set-up guide

This short guide explains how you can display your Blipstar store locator inside a Joomla (version 1.5.x) powered site. Basic knowledge of Joomla is assumed but it is very easy to do and should take less than five minutes to set up. The screenshots below show the key steps for adding a store locator in the popular version 1.5 of Joomla. The things you need to do are highlighted in pink.

Instructions

• Log in to the Adminstration Panel (Joomla)
• Go to Menu Item Manager and select the Menu you want your store locator to be accessible from
• Click the "New" button
• Choose Wrapper from the list of Menu Item Types
• Enter a Title (e.g. Store Locator) in the Menu Item Details panel
• Enter your Blipstar URL: https://viewer.blipstar.com/search?uid=2435124 into the Wrapper URL box under the Parameters (Basic) Panel
• Set Scrollbars to No, Width to 805 and Height to 505
• Click "Save"

Step 1 In Adminstration, go to Menu Item Manager and click New
Step 2 Choose the Wrapper item type
Step 3 In Menu Item Details enter a Title, and select which menu you want to link to. In Parameters (Basic) enter your unique Blipstar locator URL, set the scrollbar value to No and enter the Width and Height values as recommended by Blipstar. Click Save
Step 4 On your site the locator should be available via the menu you chose
