creating a store locations file
blipstar™ needs to know where to plot your stores on the map ("geocoding"). Although you can enter this manually it is more convenient to create a list of store names and addresses and upload it. The list can be defined in a spreadsheet or text file using at least two columns with the following headers:
The HTML column can be used to add extra information or links to the store website etc. Specifying a lat and long is faster as the address does not need to be geocoded. Your list can be saved as an Excel spreadsheet, a text file (CSV or tab delimited) or a DBF file. An example of the format required is shown below:

- Name - the name of the store
- Address - the address of the store
- ZIP code or Postcode - postal code
- HTML - text/HTML containing information which is displayed with the store name
- Lat - if the store is already geocoded, its latitude (decimal degrees)
- Long - if the store is already geocoded, its longitude (decimal degrees)
