Add a store locator to Shopify

NB: As you are not logged in the following examples refer to the Blipstar demo store locator.
Shopify

Shopify is a popular one-stop shop for running an online store.

Naturally a lot of its users are small businesses selling exclusively over the web, with no physical building as such. But many bricks and mortar establishments use Shopify to augment their in-store shopping experience - the kind of businesses that use Blipstar-generated store locators.

Thankfully it's easy to integrate your store locator into a Shopify virtual store. If you can copy and paste like a pro, it should take less than a minute!

  1. Log in to Shopify
  2. From the Shopify admin page, go to Pages and click 'Add page'.
  3. Give the page an informative title - something like Store locator or Find your nearest store is usually a good bet.
  4. Click on the Show HTML button which looks like <>
  5. Paste the following Blipstar iframe code into the Content area of the text editor (use command + v on Macs or ctrl + v on PCs).
  6. <iframe width='802' height='502' src='https://viewer.blipstar.com/search?uid=2435124' scrolling='no' frameborder='0'></iframe>
  7. Click on 'Save'
Tip: Because all Shopify pages use SSL you need to use secure blipstar urls.

When you navigate to your newly created page the store locator should magically appear.

So there you have it. Your very own store locator neatly integrated into your very own Shopify website. Happy selling!
